With the belatedly lively irc meeting winding down a bit, I figured this would be good time to write a little rambling about nothing.
Now, normally I don't pay much attention to the numbers assigned to my ramblings. After all, their just that: numbers. Right? No meaning beyond the obvious representation of the count of times I've typed text garbage into this engine for display on the web. Therefore, attempting to assign any additional significance to them, would be, to quote Spock, "illogical".
This time, I'll make an exception, however, by making the content something other than what it would normally be, were it not for the integer assigned to it. The reason for this is mostly that contemplations regarding what to put in rambling 666 have been rumbling around the back of my mind more and more as it came closer.
First off, I think a link to the official Church of Satan website would be appropriate. Check. Don't forget to go and read up on your religion now, children.
What else? Oh, I suppose some kind of apocalyptic doomsday prophesy would be in order.
And on that day, all things shall crumble, the Windows users 'round the world shall scream as their blue screens light up in unison, the destiny of the Code Red dragon taking its final vengeance. But the Great Penguin shall stand mighty and victorious, with the daemon to his right, and the gnome to his left, and the world shall be united in celebration ever after.
...
Ok, so that sucked. Cut me a little slack. It's late at night, and coming up with crap like that on the fly when your brain feels like a fried egg.
because I got high
because I got high
Funny, they were playing that song on the radio the other day, on BPI of all places. That, coupled with having heard it during the end credits of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was enough to get it echoing in my head ever since.
Now, for a humor link of the day (if the link above wasn't funny enough for you). the funniest batch of movie reviews ever written. I still think this one is the funniest. (People at work on certain mailing lists may recognize it from a while back, but I just happened to run across the site again today, and could barely keep from bursting out laughing.)
I think all this techno trance music that's been continuously streaming in all evening is starting to get to my head. Regenerating sounds like a good idea. I think I shall do so as well. So much for the great 666. Off to dreamland.
