With the Quality Mythology[tm] rerun just now over, it seemed like a good time to post a little rambling. So here I go.

Today, I took the opportunity to give the Lair a good vacuuming before transporting all my stuff back into its confines. Now the floor is nice and clean again. :-)

In random web surfing news, it's not every day that you find a porn site that's been tested and verified to work with lynx (along with a plethora of other browsers). ROTFL. Yes, there's no turn-on quite like a Linux savvy web mistress who pays close attention to her W3C standards compliance and usability features. Oh, and the sexy pics don't hurt any either... Hehe. :)

(And don't forget the other highly unusual-for-a-porn-site features (not like I'd know ;) such as getting to see who else happens to be surfing the site at the moment, and discussion areas complete with optional mug shots of every person participating in the discussion, which, surprisingly enough, many people make use of. Even more surprising was that yours truly decided to jump in and also make use of this feature.)

Yes, Bitscape is a lunatic. We know this.

Content vulturism indeed.

I contemplate the future and the past.

Actually, I don't think it's really worn off yet. Maybe I'm really still high, and I don't know it.

Watched my Excalibur DVD again last night. Each time I watch that film again, I like it better. The movie has its flaws, but... I just LOVE Nicol Williamson's performance as Merlin. His over-the-top, hyper-dramatic delivery of every line. That alone makes the film worth watching. Some people might call it overacting. I call it good entertainment.

...

Everything is always expanding. Growing farther apart. Watch as people who were once close friends become as strangers. Some not seen for years. Others whose faces have become barely recognizable. But inevitably, as the times of yesterday fade, new unions are forged. With experience comes the knowledge that they too will one day slip away and be replaced. Such is the way of the universe.

we are damned
we are dead
all god's children to be sent
to our perfect place
in the sun
in the dirt

This has been another out of an endless supply semi-coherent musings from the mind of a wannabe web provocateur extraordinaire.

I'm going to sleep now.
