Today I drove MYSELF to work :)

See title. :)

Hmmmm... anything else to say? Surely there must be something, since lately I've been managing to spew out one of these things almost every day for the last several weeks. Sometimes more than one per day. And that was before I had a car to talk about. :)

Well... I drove the clan to lunch today. :) Quiznos. Actually, I think I was more nervous than anything. But geez, drive everybody to lunch for the first time, and it feels like there's all this pressure riding on your back. Will I turn at the right place? Will I forget to do something critical? Are my blinkers flashing properly? Yes, a high degree of nervousness on the first trip with the car filled to capacity with coworkers. A high degree of excitement as well. :)

(I do have one regret with regard to that, but... [unfinished sentence])

After work, I drove myself to the haircut factory to get some of the excess weight on my neck removed.

(Speaking of my neck, it made a complete recovery last week. The Sunday night after Starfest, before I went to sleep, it was feeling especially nasty. I decided to take matters into my own hands. While in a horizontal position, relaxing the neck muscles themselves, I used my hands to forcefully twist one way, then the other. Heard a few little bones crunch, but on Monday morning, it was signicantly better. It continued to improve throughout the week without further assistance. I have no idea whether or not it would have healed naturally without my haphazard "intervention" or not. I'm just glad it feels normal again.)

As I was saying, I got my hair cut. It needed it. Has for a while now. The woman who cut it was eight months pregnant, and obviously quite excited about it. Her first kid, and she ain't quite sure how it's gonna go, but she's certainly looking forward to it. Heh. (Hey, if I can ramble about the irrelevant details about my own life, why not ramble about the very relevant (to them) details of other people's lives, even if I don't know them, and will probably never see them again?)

After the haircut, I considered stopping for supper since I was in Boulder anyway. I decided against it, for fear I might commit another booboo. (Wouldn't want to come home on a full stomach, only to discover a huge meal on the table.) I decided that after I came home, if there was nothing cooked and nothing I felt like eating in the fridge, I'd take a swing by the drivethru.

I got home. The house was (is) quiet. bouncing playing Nintendo. No one else anywhere to be seen. I found a few pre-boiled eggs in the fridge. Ate one. Mmmmm. I may go out and grab something at Taco Bell, or go scan the fridge some more after this rambling. Haven't quite decided yet.

I can't remember whether Ally McBeal is a rerun tonight or not. My instinct says it is, because everything else on Fox this week has been reruns so far. Might watch it. Might not. *shrug*

Oh, that's mom, home with food. Looks like maybe I made the right decision after all. Peace, all.
