Kylark directs our attention to channel null. This quote is my favorite bit:

The best form of protest is the simplest -- disturbing daily life ever so slightly creates a rippling in the causal chain that inhaling tear gas does not, and conveniently leaves the disturber with her freedom, so she might continue to cause more problems. Obeying all the laws and working to rule disrupts "the system" in a way said system only thinks it can handle.

I've been thinking a lot about how to deal with the Black Iron Prison; I know first-hand that pounding and shaking your fist only adds to its strength. But finding those little cracks and chipping away at them just a tiny bit can allow enough light through that others may also see it. I theorize that when everyone undergoes anamnesis, the walls of the Black Iron Prison will, in that moment, vanish altogether, as they were nothing but an elaborate illusion to begin with. (Then again, maybe I've just been reading too much Valis lately.)
