Today's events, brief.

• Rode to the closest library branch, where I checked out The Art of Happiness, co-authored by the Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler.
• Nemo arrived at the Mideast Base for a multi-day stay while he does some work.
• Yanthor, Nemo and I went to the Jewel Heart meeting, where preperations were being planned for Gehlek Rimporche's visit this weekend.

Given that I'm scheduled to be at work at 0700 tomorrow, and I'll have a very long day because of the meeting in the evening, I really should be in bed right now. But I'm not, because being awake is too interesting right now. I have ingested a chemical substance which should put me into a sleepy state in a few minutes, but it has not yet taken effect. Until then, I'll go see what Nemo and Yanthor are talking about.
