Internal heat chamber

For what must be the past six or so hours, my body has been attempting to create as much heat for itself as possible.

After a sluggish day lolling around the Mideast Base neglecting most of the plans I had made (which I told myself was due to lack of motivation rather than any physical malady), I went to work this afternoon, and minutes after arriving, I began to feel light-headed and mildly nauseous. Not enough to prevent my from doing my job, but enough to alert me that my system was again under attack from within.

It worsened with each moment. By the time I clocked out 10 minutes early at 19:50, I knew I was going to be in for a long evening, but hopefully nothing longer.

Upon arrival, I immediately took to the bed without even touching the computer, piled an extra blanked on, and laid there shivering. Slowly, the enclosed area warmed up.

I couldn't sleep, and really wanted some music, so I forced myself up long enough to put in Queensryche's Evolution Live DVD. The music soothed me while keeping my mind just occupied enough.

Many thoughts ensued. Though I had much planned to write, I'm now going to truncate this rambling due to the rapidly worsening nature of my condition as I sit here bundled up in winder clothes covered with a blanked. Gotta lie back down. May need a vomiting pan. Quit.
