By 7am, I felt much better. "Better" in the sense that the sickness, headache, and aching was completely gone. But I also felt super tired, like one does after a night with almost no sleep.

It's now 12:00, and I'm not only awake, but I feel full of energy. Since I have almost 5 hours until my shift begins, I'm thinking of taking another biking expedition downtown this afternoon. The sun is shining outside, a nice change from the overcast raininess of the past few days.

Among my destinations to check out:

• 10th and R, where some mysterious scribblings had been reported. A possible clue.
• 23rd and South. Gotta know my options.
• The little used book store on... 14th(?), between O and P maybe. I don't remember the exact street, but it's easy to find.

Time to get scrambling.
