The megafest commenced on Wednesday night. I arrived on the scene at 22:30 CDT to find that I was the first guest, and proceeded to setup Argo. Jaeger, Kiesa, Humblik, and Linknoid arrived a few minutes later. We watched the premiere of Jaeger's video of the previous megafest, and went to bed.

On Thursday, we played a bunch of poker, Yalena arrived, and we went to the Travellers and Magicians and met at a coffee house with some of the people from Yanthor's Buddhist group. Jaeger and I made a fortification run on the way back.

Friday, we went to Episode III and visited Yanthor's workplace, I made bean dip, we did movie voting, watched Primer, and played a game of Settlers before bed.

Saturday went by in a blur. Biscuits, gravy, more poker, Citizen Kane, settlers. And of course, eating bean dip.

Sunday. More settlers. Jaeger and Kiesa departed. Linknoid and Humblik hours later.

It was, in short, one of the quickest-to-pass megafests ever. Objectively, it was about the same length as the last several, but it seemed like it was over when it had just begun. Where did the time go?

Today, I conducted what might almost be a passable excuse for job hunting. I also made what turned out to be another failed attempt to fix my bike's flat. Those damn postage stamp patches I bought at the store a couple weeks ago aren't worth their weight in pennies. Either that, or I'm doing something wrong. I think I need some real glue and rubber, like my dad used to use when I was little.

I'm a bit dubious about how this whole Lincoln job hunting thing is going to work out, although that probably has at least as much to do with my ambivilance about whether I want to move to Lincoln as it does with whether I can find a job here. Yanthor and Anya have certainly been gracious hosts though.

I search my dreams for answers, and find only the same images replaying, a strange parody of waking reality. I don't know what's going to happen.
