Snow in Summertime

Well, ok, technically, maybe I'm a little off, but it's almost summertime, is it not? The month of May begins to tomorrow. Yet as I look at the blizzard out the window in the town I just drove across, one might guess that it's late November. The snow isn't sticking to the ground much, but the quantity falling out of the sky lends the a heavy impression of winter anyway.

Well, now. Shall we just get to the meat of it, or shall I dillydally around the nonexistent point in my usual manner?

The latter, of course. Otherwise, this wouldn't be a true rambling.

People who check this site often might notice the three placeholders I have created. They will disappear and be replaced when I am able to transfer the content of the ramblings that were written while I was away from network connectivity. I'm not sure whether this rambling will make less sense for people who read it without having seen the previous ones, or vice versa.

Or maybe it's just all nonsense. Does it really matter?

This morning, as daylight appeared, I found a renewed sense of strength and purpose. The agony seemed to evaporate into the clouds. I was strong. I am strong. No matter what, the universe continues to be.

But that came just a little bit later. Rewind an hour or two.

Shortly before 07:00, I placed a call to scottgalvin.com. I knew he was in Fort Collins, and that we were planning to meet and perform a very time sensitive operation at the data center sometime in the "early" morning, though the exact time had not been specified.

I wanted to get ahold of him before he left Fort Collins. The reason? I wanted my Firefly DVD set back.

[pause to work on something work-related. a fairly long while]

Well, it's become apparent that I'm not going to finish this rambling in this sitting. There's just a couple more work things to wrap up with work for the day, and after that, I'm going to pack Rygel up for another journey -- a journey befitting of a Dominar. (Or wait. Maybe that's going to be the Nebraska trip. Yeah, only one so epic as that is really truly worthy of the Dominar's greatness. Yeah.)

Well, I didn't mean to do this, but I'm going to have to call this one a "To Be Continued", with a specia extra bonus being that the cliffhanger runs in 2 chronological directions.

To be precluded? Or is it prequeled?

In any case, I'll be signing back on later from somewhere else. Peace.

To be bi-cluded

Time to start inventing new words. "Bicluded."

Yeah, that's the ticket!
