Life is a new adventure every day. Tomorrow morning, I will be waking up at at the crack of dark to depart on an epic journey. My destination: The much talked about, but never before seen (by me) town of Longview, Washington. While there, I will participate in a ceremony of union for a very special couple. Must-see tv at its finest. (But somehow, I strongly doubt that Jaeger will be pulling a Xander.)

My method of transport will be via air. The thought had crossed my mind to make an epic road trip of it. (Maybe even getting the chance to beat my San Antonio to Denver continuous drive time record.) But when comparing the gas + car wear-n-tear price against the cost of airfare, and add to that the additional PTO required from work, it just wouldn't have made sense financially. So I will be taking the sky route. I even get a window seat, as requested. :)

There are some more preparations I will need to be make (like, say, finishing the laundry, packing my clothes, etc), but I think I've got things mostly in order now.

Seems like it would also be a good idea for me to get some sleep in the near future. The extra early wake up time ahead, combined with the much lower-than-average sleep times I've achieved during the past 2 nights, lead me to believe that an early bedtime would indeed be a very benificial. Unfortunately, I'm not really feeling sleepy at all at this time.

Maybe a light sedative (small enough to wear off within 8 hours), a little music, and some packing of supplies will do the trick. Yes, that is now the plan.

I find myself looking forward to this journey.
