After my little evening nap tonight, I began efforts to bring the Castle Lair into a somewhat hospitable state. What a mess! Gotta "impress the guest".

As some vultures may or may not know, the content vulture occassionally known as drizzt will be paying a visit tomorrow night, and will remain here until Sunday. Cool, it rhymes! "There once was a man named Drizzt / and one day he came here to visit..."

As expected, I got a call from Drizzt this evening. He is now in town, somehow having managed to survive the mean streets of Denver so far, and will be doing his tests through tomorrow. The plan is that I will pick him up after work, and we'll hang out Friday (I arranged to have the day off work), plus the weekend.

It is so wacky to talk to someone you haven't seen or heard in years. It's like... even though it's been ages, you just start talking, and the bullshit falls away within moments, and you're laughing like old times again. As if that was just yesterday, and you're starting right back where you left off. Or something.

I'm going to get some good sleep soon. I guess that's really all I had to say right now. I have more thoughts on the topics that I have been churning about here over the past few days, but none cohesive enough at this point to be worth trying to write. Looking forward to tomorrow. That's all now.
