More Info
On a Tuesday night, Jaeger, bouncing, and myself
gathered outside the Boulder Theater near the Pearl
Street mall in the rain, and awaited the opening of the
doors. A large and unorderly crowd formed outside the
theater, leading me to speculate a possible headline:
Memento Riot of 2001 Hits Boulder Colorado.
The three of us got in, got a seat front and center.
(In most theaters, being in the absolute front row is
undersirable, but the Boulder Theater's distance from
the screen makes it the best seat in the house.) The
large and lively crowd filled the theater to near
capacity. The film started late. All part of the
experience.
Seeing this great piece of cinematic work a second time
is nearly as mind blowing as the first, but in a
different way. Many more of the details foreshadowing
what is going to happen (or should I say what
did happen) are noticable. Unfortunately, due
to short term memory loss, I can't seem to remember
what any of those details were right at this moment.
I think I'm going to have to go into another week-long
recovery again. Goodnight, world. Will I remember any
of this in the morning?
