Today, I engaged in a practice seldom performed since the more youthful wild years of abandon and frolic (Oh brother!): I watched a whole bunch of movies back-to-back, nonstop, for the better portion of the waking day (and evening). Now, here I sit, with a whopping four movielog windows open with the intend of chronicling each of these unique cinematic experiences. (Plus I've got this rambling window, plus another xterm for general use, plus my standard compliment of Mozilla windows, plus all that stuff on my other desktops, etc. Geez, I'm beginning to think I should buy more memory.)
I started by just opening one for Clerks, thinking I would write my entries sequentially. But I know I don't think like that. Two sentences into discussing Clerks, and I'm thinking about scenes from Chasing Amy, back to Mallrats, and then fast forward to the one that's currently most fresh on my brain: Dogma. So I fired up some more xterms, attempting to write them all simultaniously, but then that started to seem so daunting. (Poor Bitscape getting intimidated by a multitude of xterms? Never.) So, in hopelessness, I opened up a rambling window where I can now babble hopelessly offtopic about nothing.
Alright, that silly lyric cover page has got to go. It was fun for the first five minutes, but now it's just plain annoying. I will presently be relegating it to the realm of odd and obscure curiosities, and restore the standard cover, although I may modify the text slightly in the not-too-far future.
[Bitscape opens ssh to rage.]
On with the entries...
[Bitscape shades this window to focus elsewhere for a while...]
[A couple hours later...]
Mostly completed the Clerks entry, with Mallrats and Chasing Amy somewhere around halfway through what I want to say, I'm guessing. I may truncate them short if the sleepiness increases. Haven't really even started the Dogma entry yet.
This evening, I took a little trip to Safeway for Gatorade (I think the product placement in the Clerks dialog may have consciously or not-so-consciously influenced by purchasing decision) and salad on the way to get takeout spaghetti at the Blue Parot (this between Chasing Amy and Dogma). At the checkout, there was a clerk I have seen lots of times before. A woman of Asian descent, who I would guess is in her 40s. I was wearing my Borg shirt. Just as I was walking away with my bag, she said "What does your shirt say?" I stood still, recited the first line, and she read the rest aloud, then smiled.

"Boy, have you ever got that right!" With a grin, before I left the grocery store.
Tis good to see that the message is getting around, no? :)
[More typing passes.]
And now, I prepare to do a mass submit. And then sleep. Sometimes, I can be a little nutty when it comes to this "web content" thing. Past 4am. Yeek. So much for sleep patterns.
