So yeah, here I am. In the Lair. The Covad tech people could show up in five minutes. Could be four hours. Who knows? In this rainy, foggy weather, I'll just be glad if they show up at all. (Preferably, with an immediate fix to this long outage as well.)

Funny thing when I got home today. The house, totally vacant, dark, and quiet. But right there, sitting on top of the couch next to the front windowsill was Grumpus, still and tranquil as can be, apparently just looking out the window at all the fog. The only life form within the premises.

Work today: No comment.

Ho hum. Well, maybe I'll watch a DVD or two, draw a picture, or play a game of q3 while I wait. That's all.
