Alright, so yes, I did meander in to work for a while today. (In case it wasn't already obvious to everybody; who ARE all these strange characters who keep appearing in the chatter dose anyway? ;)

After several hours of insanity, and a sandwich dinner during which engineers hobnobbed with (brace yourselves)... high ranking members from other divisions of the company, and a bit more work, Bitscape decided it was time to take his leave, and....

Head home for the Voyager premiere, which he was too spacey to be aware of and watch when it first aired on Wednesday night. A rockin intro to the final season, if I do say so myself. Ya know, I think this has always been true, but I realized it even more while I was watching tonight: What really makes the best shows great is the characters. Yes. Special effects and dazzling costumes are good. Like the cream cheese on the bread/bagel/english muffin. The topping is good, but you don't want it all by itself. Gotta have the meat there.

We're just over two hours away from the premiere of the final season of another great tv show (which anyone who has been reading here already knows, I'm sure): Xenawarriorprincess later tonight on WB2. (And yes, I've already checked; No baseball to server as a potential interference at all. Yeeeaaaa!)

And now, I shall terminate this rambling to take a trip to The Barn with bouncing. (Okay, so nobody asks: That's short for "Barnes and Noble" -- a treasure trove of wonderful literature, fun, and knowledge. Must.... upgrade... visual... language.... processor...) Peace, all.
