many roads I have traveled

Being back now, having Atlanta behind me, I can just feel the tension surrounding the whole thing dissipating off into the ether. A relief. That's over. Now I can rest for a couple days. The I'll go back into what will surely still be the local circus of insanity, but at least it will be here, where I have my grounding, home nearby, and a cubicle with facilities optimized for getting my work done in an efficient manner. Besides, that's still two days away. :)
With all these entries queued up, which I have yet to transcribe, I've been thinking it might be a good idea to streamline the sync/submission system. Right now, it's been a hideous hack of historical kludges evolving out of other historical kludges. Written for a setup and assumed way of doing things that is now long in the past. I might code a bit of that. Shouldn't be too hard. Just a couple hours of code munging.
Or maybe I'll just have a nap. Tempting. Well, we'll see. Here's to home, goodness, and sanity.
