Slept nice'n'late today. After I got up, I spent a couple hours playing with the Lounge code. I have such demanding readers. Always wanting this feature and that feature. Why, just last night, not one, but two emails regarding new functionality. (At least one of them provided a little code. ;)

Well, we are now Content Solutions Headline enabled. We both feed the db, and display the dump, both portions in full compliance with the Official Imaginary Content Solutions Spec.

I got off the phone from a most amusing conversation a few moments ago. After taking a shower and emerging from my lair, I found the house empty. So I made an attempt to call the female parental figure on her cell phone. She answered. Turns out she and the male parental figure are at the grocery store, gathering foods for a mountain picnic. We were discussing what the foods were and planned destinations, when the house phone rang.

It was bouncing. He wanted to know what was going on. I answered, placing the house phone with bouncing on my left ear, while the cell phone w/mom was on my right ear. So they both could hear me, and I could hear both of them talking into both ears at once, but neither could hear each other. lol. So much for spurning all these antique communications technologies involving full duplex analog audio.

And as we forge ahead, into the unknown future of Content Solutions Technologies. What does this future hold?

I have a small confession to make. And what interesting timing, given the discussion Jaeger and I had on Thursday night regarding our web content philosophies, practices, and possibilities. Last night, for the first time in a long time, I looked at my logs.

Now under normal circumstances, I would not have. But someone else (AHEM!) with an account on Rage went peeking into them a bit, after a certain visitor made their presence known recently. So compelling were the results, this snooper decided to email me, and was kind enough to include plenty of spoiler space in case I was timid. Of course, being adventurous as I am, I bit into it.

It would seem that this web page was the draw of the evening in a certain office to the east, and to the south. Now.... lol. I wasn't sure whether to be spooked or flattered that such a number of people found my stuff so entertaining that they took time out of their busy schedules to surf here -- quite a large block of time, devouring significant chunks of content. Well, given that I like to be an optimist, I say flattered.

The funny thing is that this was happening at the exact same time that the Boulder Area Content Vultures were having their little mini-conference, during which such ideas as privacy, anonymity, who reads whose page, etc were being discussed. (Among many other things.)

Yes, well... THIS is the entertainment style of the future! You better believe it. And now I'm flattering myself. Hope ya'll enjoy this.

Last night, on the way home from work, Uncle Nasty was playing Marilyn Manson's new song, Disposable Teens. Just thought I'd mention that, for no apparent reason.

Well, further ideas for content are eluding me at the moment, although I know they're buried somewhere in my brain. So I think I'll jump out of this chair and prepare for the picnic. Hail.
