Alrighty then. Well, a little perusing this site's access stats and logs (something I seldom do) reveals some interesting stuff. Aside from the ever-present hits from the geek commune, and a strange agent on 26 January identifying itself as Mozilla 4.0, but exhibiting oddly spider-like behavior in that it systematically accessed every document on my page, I've been getting a fair number of hits from eSoft lately. In fact, every rambling I've written since applying there has been accessed (and presumably read). Since I'm sure this one will be no different, I'd just like to take this opportunity to wave. :)

Since I really have nothing to say, I'll do what I sometimes do, risk the wrath of some overzealous copyright enforcer, and default to typing the lyrics of the song I'm currently listening to.

(And the road becomes my bride)
And the road becomes my bride
I am stripped of all but pride
so in her I do confide
and she keeps me satisfied
gives me all I need

and with dust in throad i crave
only knowledge will i save
to the game you stay a slave
rover wanderer nomad vagabond
call me what you will

oh
but i'll take my time anywhere
free to speak my mind anywhere
and i'll redefine anywhere
anywhere i roam
where i lay my head is home yeah

(and the earth becomes my throne)
and the earth becomes my throne
i adapt to the unknown
under wandering stars i groan
by myself but not alone
i ask no one

and my ties are severed clean
less i have the more i gain
off the beaten path i rein
rover wanderer nomad vagabond
call me what you will
but ill take my time anywhere
i'm free to speak my mind anywhere
and i'll nevermind anywhere
anywhere i roam
where i lay my head is home yea yeah

but i'll take my time anywhere
i'm free to speak my mind
and take my find anywhere
anywhere i roam
where i lay my head is home

but i'll take my time anywhere
i'm free to speak my mind anywhere
and i'll redefine anywhere
anywhere i roam
where i lay my head is home
come upon my stone
my body lies but still i roam

wherever i may roam
wherever i may roam
wherever i may roam
wherever i may roam
wherever i may wander
wander
warder
wherever i may roam

Now THAT, my friends, is the best typing exercise around! (But yes, I did have to stop and repeat parts of the cd in places. Not that good yet, but I'm working on it...) Go back, add the proper <br> tags, and hit submit.
