Scream 3

I was actually looking forward to seeing this movie, given that I really enjoyed the first two. They seemed to be just the right blend of horror and comedy, parodying slasher flicks of the past with a fresh slant which has since been imitated, but never quite matched by other movies.
Unfortunately, I just don't think seeing it would be quite as enjoyable when I know that some of the money would go to persecute people like Jon Johansen. Therefore, I have abstained.
During the time that most likely would have been spent at the movie, I caught up on some much needed sleep. Lord knows I needed it after yesterday's busy day, last night's fest, and today's batch of fun-filled activities (some of which included kludging up the code for the Anti-Movielog, among other things).
What will I do with the money that would have gone to the ticket price? I'm still considering that. Right now, I'm thinking I'll put half of it in a fund to donate to the Electronic Frontier Foundation. They've supported the net community through many challenges, including the CDA, freedom to encrypt, and now this. The other half, I think I'll spend on some form of entertainment which won't funnel my money to known tyrants. What exactly this will be has yet to be determined.
