Progress check

Given that approximately 1/52nd of the the year 2000 has now elapsed, I think I'll briefly examine my current progress on each New Year's Resolution, made one week ago.
Without further ado, here goes:
-
This year, I shall find a real job. Actually, better make that this month. Or sooner.
I posted a resume on my web site, but a posted resume does not a job make. Assessment: 1%.
-
This year, I shall buy a new desktop PC. The former being a prerequisite for this one.
Well, I received a new keyboard, even though I had ordered it in 1999. So it's a stretch, but I'll make it. Assessment: 2%.
-
This year, I shall find a girlfriend. Well, maybe. Or at least meet a few prospectives.
Does reading a website count? No, I don't suppose it does. Especially considering that she already has a boyfriend. :( Assessment: 0%
-
This year, I shall find more avenues other than the Internet to channel my self expression.
Sorry. Hasn't happened yet. Assessment: 0%
-
This year, I shall obtain lodging of my own. The biggest one by far, but a worthy goal. This place is great, but I need to strike out on my own, make a life, gain independence. Ya know?
Again, nothing happening. Of course, I wasn't planning for this one to take any kind of shape until later in the year anyway. Assessment: 0%.
-
Be true, honest to myself. I know this one sounds kind of vague and clichéd. Let me see if I can better define what I mean. Oh heck, this might take a few paragraphs, so I'll get back to it momentarily.
Hmmm. Since this one cannot be measuered by even remotely objective means, it's a little harder. It's also not something where I can say, "Ok, I've reached my goal. Now that's done." Rather, honesty is a day-to-day fight. I think I've done fairly well in this area over the course of week, so I'll rate on that. This value could drop and rise from week to week, since it is not measured cumulatively, but rather as something that is in a state of constant flux. Assessment: 80%
Well, there it is. (And don't ask whether I'll be doing this here every week all year, cause I really don't know. It's gotta be spontaneous, ya know?) Tomorrow, assuming all goes well, I'll be posting the results of a little social experiment I'm running that's currently still in progress.
