Time Flies...

At least it has for the past 28 hours. I spent a good many hours yesterday working on CD Corner. It's just about ready to be declared operational. Just a couple more scripts, a bit of fine tuning, and then of course there's the content. I'll get to that, assuming finals don't distract too much from the really important stuff. :)

Last night, a several of us went to Bryan's house and watched Episodes 4, 5, and 6. What awesome movies. They just never get old. I'm contemplating making entries in my movielog, since they did fit the letterbox criteria. Maybe if I get around to it. After that was over at 0300 this morning, a few stayed up and played Magic a couple more hours. What fun it was. It's times like those that make life worthwhile.

After waking up at 1330 today, I ran across a really good article in Salon about "Programming in Vampire Mode". Can we say Fest? Oh yeah! Loved it. What an excellent description of the joys of being a programmer.

Speaking of festing, several of us are planning an end-of-year fest to commence this Wednesday and Thursday, after finals are over. I certainly look forward to that. I have a feeling it's gonna be a blast.

Just when we thought Josta was a fleeting memory, Jaeger and I discovered what might be something of a substitute. Friday, while we were wandering around in the soda isle, the word "Guarana" caught his eye. Sure enough, it's a beverage called "Bawls Guarana". It's even got a warning about the high caffeine levels (yeah!). We each bought a bottle for the upcoming fest. At $1.17 for 10 oz (that's at a discount grocer), it's probably a bit too pricey to become a staple, even if it does turn out to be really good. Definitely worth trying though.

I think I'll grab a bite to eat before getting ready for work. Then I gotta figure out when all my finals are. Wouldn't want to miss those. (Yes, I'm really with it here, aren't I?)
