On to Montana!

In Casper, Wyoming, we stopped and Rain took me to eat at a funky little Mexican restaurant. The sun was setting, providing an awesome photo opportunity.

When we arrived in Missoula on Wednesday, after I had slept a bit, the first thing Rain wanted to do was visit the river. We took Anna's beautiful dog Ire along, and Rain told me the story of how this dog once saved her life.

Ire loves the river too.

We stepped on rocks to an island in the middle of the river where a log provided a bench. While we were there, Ire refused to leave Rain's side, even when she adminished the dog to go play.

Ire was extremely loyal.

Rain crosses the rocks.

We stayed at the house of Rain's friend Anna. There are constantly people coming and going at that house. Pictured here: one of Anna's friends holding Anna's daughter Natasha, Anna, and Rain.

Rain teased me about the fact that for the first couple days in Missoula, I was passing out and falling asleep. A lot. At one point, while I was sleeping on Anna's couch, she pulled out my camera and got proof.

Rain hangs out while Anna, in a rare moment, does something on the computer.
