On Friday, Rain and I met with my old friend and mentor Keith, and we journied into the mountains.
Some ancient buildings across the road from the cemetary we visited.
Rain and Keith studied many of the gravestones in the mountain cemetary.
Keith makes a fashionable pose.
It was a cool cemetary. In the hills right above Central City.
Really getting into those gravestones!
I handed the camera to Keith long enough to have a rare moment on the other side of the lense.
We also went through Georgetown. This is the view of the town from the road that ascended the mountains above it.
A quick stop, and we get back in the car.
As we ascended the mountains, I couldn't resist snapping some out the window.
Beautiful Colorado mountains.
This being my first visit back to Colorado since obtaining a digital camera, I wanted to catch as much beauty as I could. So I did.
Willow would of often stand next to the window and jump up at bugs flying around on the glass. She would sometimes leap several feet into the air, attempting to grab the tiny insects. I wanted to try and get a picture of these antics in midair, but this was as close as I got.
Cat5 welcomed us into her tribe, but she wasn't nearly as interested in mugging for the camera as Willow. This was the only picture I got of her.
