Bitscape's Lair

Double test day

Submitted: Wednesday, April 7, 1999 17:08

Ho hum. Today, I took two tests. One in discrete math, the other in investments. I think I did alright, but not great, on both of em. Didn't study. Undermotivated, I guess. Same old story. Oh yeah, there was a quiz too. Public speaking. Considering that I didn't even open the book, I probably did alright on that one too.

I work in a half hour, and I intend to get some small bit of nourishment before then, so I don't have tons of time to sit here and babble like usual.

Someday, maybe I'll decorate this drab entry page. Right now it's default grey. When I was making it, I was so concerned with functionality that I didn't put any energy into making it pretty. Maybe that's just as well, as it seems I spend enough time here without additional incentive. Ho hum.

Today I signed the official papers to have my transcript sent off to CU, and spent my last two dollar bills (and four quarters) to cover the fee. Now I just get to sit and wait. I hope I get accepted. Whether I actually go there or not, I hope I get accepted, just so I can have the choice. Officially broke, I am.

I'll be even more broke in just under two weeks. Several of us are planning to journey to Denver the weekend after next to go to Starfest. Crazy, isn't it? It should be fun though.

Well, now that my Garbage cd has come to a close, I think I'll wrap this up and grab a bite to eat before work. Ciao.
