Bitscape's Lair

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

Rating: ** 1/2

I saw this movie immediately after seeing In Dreams. I wasn't planning on seeing a second movie, but ran into a couple friends (who shall go unnamed) in the theater, and was invited to join them in completing their movie marathon. Naturally, I accepted. :)

In seemed this was the night for horror movies, so in we went, with the intent of having the shit scared out of us yet again. In that capacity, I would say this movie did its job quite well. My nerves were certainly frazzled upon exiting the theater. Yes, this movie was well worth the $1.75 admission price.

At first, I though it was going to be really clichéd and stupid. This movie was no Scream, but it held its ground. It's a slasher all the way, complete with the scary music, the scenes of false suspense acting only as a prelude to the real outpourings of blood and mayhem, and of course the bone-chilling screams.

This one came right at a time when I was just in the mood for it. Maybe it had been to long since I'd been to a theater, but I enjoyed this and the previous movie. Am I nuts?
