Josta

Josta -- The Ultimate Programming Beverage

As people who drink it already know, Josta is a substance bearing great "PRIMAL POWER." At the Dagobah Hideout, we and our friends like to think of Josta as a religous experience. As we drink it, we find our minds expanded and enlightened, the cosmic wonder engulfing us as we envision new ways to program on the fests.

What's a Fest?

A fest is one of the most glorious experiences a programmer can experience. Imagine this: You, along with a few friends, bring your PCs together into a room, making sure you each have plenty of Josta, Mountain Dew, and optional snacking items. You then proceed to write code, converse, and design algorithms you never thought possible. This continues throughout the night; sometimes extending into daylight hours. When you can no longer keep your head from sinking into your keyboard, proceed to a couch, sleeping bag, or bed, and let the lines of code populate your dreams.

Program all night?!? Are You Crazy?

Probably. But then, what fun is life without a a little craziness? Besides, without festing, there would be no Warscape Editor, no Ken and Ted's Software (right guys?), and not nearly as much programming knowledge stored away in our brains. But even if festing didn't result in all that great stuff, it would still be worth doing, simply because programming the microprocessor is a reward unto itself!
